EKOME and the Hellenic Film Commission of the Greek Film Centre, unite forces once again and participate in this year’s FOCUS event that takes place on 7-10 December, in the Greek national stand. Professionals of the international audiovisual industry meet digitally, in presentations, discussions and networking forums, during this special exhibition that brings together 140 exhibitors and 150 speakers from 60 countries.

The national digital stand presents Greece as the ultimate destination for the filming of international audiovisual productions. The work of EKOME and the Hellenic Film Commission of the Greek Film Centre in attracting and informing the professionals about the strategic advantages of our country, is accompanied by the presence of the representatives of the national network of Film offices, that will offer the opportunity to international professionals to get acquainted with the special aspects and privileges as well as the special characteristics of the Regions and Municipalities of Greece and the services they provide to facilitate the a/v production in Greece.

The communication actions and networking forums organized by the Greek delegation this year, include b2b online meetings with the executives of the two organizations, targeted information and proper guidance for the development and implementation of productions in Greece, information on the investment incentives Cash Rebate and Tax Relief, as well as contacts with representatives of the Greek Film Offices.

On December 9th, the participants in the online presentation “Everybody Knows Greece”, Vasiliki Diagouma, Head of Communications and International Relations of EKOME, and Venia Vergou, Director of the Hellenic Film Commission, talk about the unique locations of Greece, the experienced professionals, and all the financial and other incentives that guarantee flexible procedures, security protocols and easy access for filming in Greece.
