EKOME, within the framework of its program for education and training of professionals in the audiovisual sector, cooperated with the vocational training workshop APostLab that took place in 19th-24th November, in Greece, with the support of Creative Europe Media.
The 6-day residential workshop was open for producers with an internationally co-produced project in the stage of development, and post-production supervisors. The purpose of the workshop was to increase understanding and appreciation of post-production management, to help participants integrate post-production functionally into the initial production design and advance their skills in managing post of internationally co-produced feature films and TV series.
During this project-based training that involved plenary sessions, group work, and individual consultation with trainers, participants got a better understanding of the technical, financial, and creative aspects of post-production, whereas producers and post-production supervisors were offered the unique opportunity to work closely.
EKOME supported the 12th edition of APostLab that took place in Athens and financed scholarships to participants, whose projects can be implemented in Greece.
On Friday, November 19th, Stelios Kraounakis (Head of Investment Incentives & Financing) presented the investment incentives of EKOME (cash rebate, tax relief, film offices network), the opportunities of financing and finding co-producers in Greece and the targeted actions of EKOME to support the audiovisual sector.
